AMPHA is a men's health advocacy association based on the Gold Coast, and we welcome referral enquiries from men anywhere in Queensland who would like help finding a registered men's health doctor.
A referral enquiry is optional and does not replace your regular GP. You are always free to choose your own doctor.
What to expect from a doctor
Whoever you see, expect a doctor registered with AHPRA, a proper assessment in person or by thorough telehealth, appropriate blood tests where the doctor considers them necessary, and ongoing follow-up. Avoid any service that skips these steps.
How a referral enquiry works
Send your name, contact details, suburb and preferred contact time through our referral form, without health condition details. We will contact you to discuss options. AMPHA does not provide medical advice or treatment, and any decision about care is made between you and a registered doctor.
AMPHA may receive fees for referring people to partner clinics, such as Third Spring Medical. We disclose this so you can make an informed choice.
Across Queensland
We receive enquiries from men across Queensland, including Brisbane, the Gold Coast, the Sunshine Coast, Townsville, Cairns, Toowoomba and regional areas. Telehealth can suit men outside the south-east, but it should still be a real consultation with a registered doctor.
Check a doctor's registration on the AHPRA public register of practitioners.
