AMPHA is a men's health advocacy association based on the Gold Coast, and we welcome referral enquiries from men in Toowoomba and the Darling Downs who would like help finding a registered men's health doctor.

A referral enquiry is optional and does not replace your regular GP. You are always free to choose your own doctor.

What to expect from a doctor

Expect a doctor registered with AHPRA, a proper assessment in person or by thorough telehealth, appropriate blood tests where the doctor considers them necessary, and ongoing follow-up. Telehealth can suit men in regional areas, but it should still be a real consultation with a registered doctor.

How a referral enquiry works

Send your name, contact details, suburb and preferred contact time through our referral form, without health condition details. We will contact you to discuss options. AMPHA does not provide medical advice or treatment.

AMPHA may receive fees for referring people to partner clinics, such as Third Spring Medical. We disclose this so you can make an informed choice.

Toowoomba and the Darling Downs

We receive enquiries from men across Toowoomba, Highfields, Oakey, Dalby, Warwick, Stanthorpe and the wider Darling Downs. Our consumer safety guides can help you check any clinic before you book.

Check a doctor's registration on the AHPRA public register of practitioners.
